  He’s been one of the top club DJ’s to bring the delights of House music across to the underground raving scene over the past few years and now he makes his assault on the charts with his CD, ‘Timeless Anthems’. How long have u been a DJ for? Quanto tempo e sono stato per un DJ?
For about 10 years now. Per circa 10 anni. I started with Jungle then moved onto the Garage scene, a little bit into the Grime scene and then onto House. Ho iniziato con Jungle poi spostata sul Garage scena, un po 'in scena la sporcizia e quindi sul Parlamento. But as I was playing the Grime I was still buying the House records. W hat tune is doing for you right now? W sintonia cappello sta facendo per voi in questo momento?
There’s too many, I ain’t gonna lie. Ci sono troppi, io non ti spetta. There’sa tune called ‘Soul Fever’ by Steelo that I’m feeling at the moment but there’s too many to mention. C'è un brano chiamato 'Soul Fever' da Steelo che mi sento in questo momento ma c'è un numero eccessivo di parlare.
A s it’s supposed to be a more peaceful scene in comparison to say the Garage scene, how do you feel about violence marring certain House events in London and even preventing some from happening in the first place? Un s è supposta essere una scena più pacifico rispetto a dire il Garage scena, come ci si sente sulla violenza marring alcuni eventi House a Londra e persino da prevenire alcuni avvenendo in primo luogo?
I’m kinda pissed off about it. Mi sto pissed off al riguardo. All it is, is that everyone’s following the hype like it was back in the day with the Jungle, Garage and now the House scene. Tutto ciò che è, è che tutti in seguito alla montatura, come è stato tornare in giornata con la giungla, Garage e ora l'Assemblea scena. A year ago half those people that are causing the trouble weren’t even listening to it [House] and now everyone’s just following the crowd. Un anno fa la metà di quelli di persone che stanno causando il problema non sono stati anche l'ascolto di essa [Casa], e ora tutti solo in seguito alla folla.
Some DJ’s are quite tight with giving out the names of tracks on their shows, why do you think this is? Alcuni DJ's sono piuttosto rigidi che con i nomi dei brani di loro mostra, perché si pensa che questo sia? Because everyone will start playing the same stuff and it will get boring. Perché tutti si inizia a riprodurre la stessa roba e si otterrà noioso. Even on my radio show I try to play stuff that doesn’t get played as much either because they [DJ’s] can’t get hold of it or it’s just something new. Anche sulla mia radio show cerco di riprodurre roba che non venga suonata come molto sia perché [DJ] non può ottenere di esso o è solo qualcosa di nuovo. I either go right back to tunes they can’t find anymore or bring it right up to date with new ones that they haven’t heard yet. W hat do think about R’&B DJ’s playing house music? W cappello fare pensare R '& B DJ's playing musica house?
Everyone’s switched over now so it’s good and bad. Tutti passeranno ora quindi è bene e nel male. For me personally I don’t mind because it keeps you on your toes so you have to be on point. Per me personalmente non mi mente, perché ti tiene in piedi il tuo modo devi essere sul punto. It means that the music is getting to a wider audience and the R&B listeners are now listening to House as well which is another good thing. Ciò significa che la musica è di arrivare a un più vasto pubblico e il R & B ascoltatori sono ora l'ascolto di House e che è un'altra buona cosa. I think it works out better on my behalf. Do you get any animosity from the older house DJ’s? Non si ottiene alcuna animosità dalla vecchia casa di DJ?
There’s different scenes in the House industry so it doesn’t occur. Ci sono diverse scene in Aula in modo che l'industria non si verifica. There’s certain sides of the house scene that probably haven’t even heard of me and that’s just how it is. It’s got more of the big tunes that everyone likes with a few big tunes that not everyone can play. It’s like that for a reason because it’s on a wider scale as it’s coming out on a major label so it’s in your HMV’s and shops like that. There’sa DVD with that as well with rave footage of where I’ve played my dubplates and it cut from rave to rave. You're booked pretty much every weekend, do you actually find time to rave to this music yourself? Stai prenotato praticamente ogni fine settimana, effettivamente trovare il tempo per rave a voi questa musica?
N ot really to be honest, if I do I get about an hour, unless I go to an after-party. N ot davvero a essere onesti, se mi faccio a ottenere circa un'ora, a meno che cerco di accedere a un dopo-festa.
