 The first thing to be said about Basement Jaxx’ latest offering is what a fantastic title; the name ‘Cray Itch Radio’ conjures up images of music so infectiously funky that standing still is not an option. While the album itself may not quite live up to such an image it nevertheless shows that these dance music heavy weights have still got something to give, some rather funky. Basement Jaxx have long been known for their refusal to remain within the confounds of any one musical genre and ‘Crazy Itch’ is no exception.
