Juli 2006 |  More than two years since Blazin’ Squad released their last hit single ‘Here 4 One’, the boys are back with their fresh new summer smash ‘All Night Long’ a perfect song for the long hot summer nights and partying until the sun comes up. Back in the studio Plat’num, Reepa, Spike-e and Melo-D have been working with Si Hulbert (Jungle Bros, Rosie Gaines, Professor Green, Friday Hill & Studio B) and ‘Flip Reverse’ producers Snowflakers (Friday Hill, Lemar, Jamelia, Keisha White, HQ & Hi Life) and the first taster of the new album is ‘All Night Long’. Does it seem lonely with just the four of you? Ist es scheinen einsam mit nur die vier von Ihnen?
It’s definitely different, but we’re all doing our own thing and have been really busy so we haven’t really noticed much. What has the feedback been like so far on your new material? Was hat das Feedback war wie bisher auf dem neuen Material?
We set up a Myspace and have had over 20,000 hits already and only had it for about a month. Wir haben ein Myspace und haben mehr als 20.000 Treffer bereits und hatte es nur für rund einen Monat. Everyone says they love All Night Long which is good news. Jeder sagt sie lieben All Night Long, die ist eine gute Nachricht. We’re still getting the same amount of love that we were getting back in the day, especially at road shows and events like that. D o you think you’ll have lost the fans you had from before? D o Sie glauben, dass Sie verloren haben, die Fans hatten Sie vor?
I don’t think so because they’ve matured along with us, we haven’t really alienated them with this new material, it’sa step up from before. W ho would you like to work with if you had the chance? W ho möchten Sie arbeiten mit, wenn Sie hatten die Chance?
Producer wise, Gemini, he’s making those grimey kind of beats. Produzent klug, Gemini, er macht die Grimey Art von Beats. (He consults with the rest of the group) Vocal wise, Keisha White. (Er berät mit dem Rest der Gruppe) Vocal klug, Keisha White. I like her vocals a lot she’s great. Ich mag ihren Gesang sehr viel sie ist großartig. There are also some new girls coming out called Triniti Soul who we would definitely work with. Es gibt auch einige neue Mädchen aus dem Namen Triniti Soul, die wir definitiv mit.
What are Blazin’ Squad up to for the rest of the year? Was sind Blazin 'Squad bis zu für den Rest des Jahres?
